Having trouble figuring out how to wire this new controller

I got this old cruise and I’m new to all this just getting into it and I can’t figure these wires out nothing lines helping me if anybody can give me a hand

Check some youtube videos of guys tinkering with controllers and you'll get the hang of it.

You can also browse places like Aliexpress where they sell many different controllers. They usually publish a pic of what each wire does. Find a controller like yours and see if the wires match up.

Controllers are not expensive. If yours has no info or is marked up in chinese, buy a better one that has documentation. Does your new controller have a display?

Anyway, if you need help, take your phone and post a nice picture of it, showing all the connectors., Add a picture of the label, Maybe even the link where you bought it. Here's an example.

Also describe your cruiser. Battery voltage. Does it have a throttle. Uses pedal assist? Picture of it.,

Oh, and throttle is only battery indicator with a red speed burst button

Derailleur means throttle. The power locks might well be the ignition wire (blue), so if you get no 5v on the throttle red when powered, that's probably it, but to be sure you'd have to open the controller and see where the blue wire goes.

Can you be a bit more specific about what your problem is? Are you saying that the bike has those things and you want to know how to wire the controller to them? If so, show pictures of the connectors.

I don’t know what the white green and yellow wires they come out of the throttle go to

Do you know where they attach to in the throttle?
If you don't have a make and model, or a link to, or wiring diagram of this throttle.
The safest way is to open it up and look to see where the colored wires terminate to.

Then it can be determined as to where they go.
From your description I would speculate that 2 will go to the button switch, and one to the positive side of voltage indicator.

Hi just purchased this Bafang controller on the website it says the pedal assist connector is a waterproof 3 pin connector, because my pedal assist sensor doesn't have the waterproof connector I spliced the connection on the controller side,here I found a red a white and a black wire,as far as I'm aware isn't this combination for the throttle.
I'm thinking that on the 1T4 cable there would ge the peadal assist connector.
Anybody know if I'm correct.

Welcome to E.S. when you find known wires like the throttle, like the phase wires, like the sense wires get a piece of masking tape and write what they are and attach them to the wires and keep doing this to you only have one or two wires left. That way it won't look like a big pile of spaghetti it only look like one fettuccine noodle. And then you may only have to find out one or two wires.

Well start there and then see how many extra wire plugs you have after.
Did it come with a motor and controller ? How's the battery have you checked out the voltage ?
What are we working with ?

Hi I have enclosed 2 photos one is the wires coming out of my 1t4 cable this the display,and the second photo which comes from my display with the white connection.
My question is what is the correct combination to connect my 1T4 wire colours to the white sm plug connector,I'm thinking that green to green and black to black I'm just not sure about the brown, orange and white any help please .

Did this display come with the bike or did the display come with the controller what display is it do you have a pic or item number about display, link ?

Why don't you tell us the history of the bike it just didn't drop out the sky do you know where the the e-bike was bought or is this a cruiser with a front or rear motor and a display and doesn't have a battery ? We can help you if you answer these questions how about a picture of the bike itself ?

Hi my bike is a knaap 20inch fat tyre with rear hub Bafang 48v 750watt motor with a Bafang 48v 22a controller display is a 750c ,the display I bought extra the original display that came with the controller was a 500c.

Start a new thread about your problem as you're buried halfway down about your question and be better for you to get help. As with some companies their controllers don't match their original system especially on the sondors e-bike a headache
