    Good to hear, the connectors would be located on the handlebar (probably Anderson) and connect the backpack to the scooter. A disconnect would be pretty probable if i fell off or tugged on it accidentally.

    Does anyone have any confirmation that the charger and the battery communicate with a data connection?     14S SK3 63-74 Electric Scooter

    Designed a 3d printed chain tensioner/idler. Increases chain wrap and makes it easier to add pre-load than the sliding slots. It's PLA for now but if I manage to break it I'll switch to some PETG I just received.

    58v on VESC

    Is anyone running a 58v (14s lipo) battery with a VESC? I realize I'll probably have to switch out the 50v caps for 100v. Since it's an E-scooter build I can turn off regen braking if necessary. Are there any alternative escs for 14S?

    LCD screen

    I would guess it's looking for a pulse on the speed line from some sort of sensor like a magnetic wheel sensor from a bike computer. You then adjust the pot on the back to get a accurate speed.

    If your in Ontario slap one of these http://www.mto.gov.on.ca/english/dandv/vehicle/emerging/e-bike-faq.shtml#a17 labels on your bike. You're not legally allowed to make your own e bike anyway so a label is the most you can do.
