Hi I am currently using CEF bit they are intermittent in terms of supply. I need to buy a few meters and can't seem to find anyone local who stocks it on the day. Any ideas? Derbyshire area.
Haha people complain about fracking just try to imagine what they are proposing. God they really need to make one that absorbs "metric tons" of CO2 in minutes. They don't mention the energy required or where the equipment is located.
Air contains 0.00005% Hydrogen so finding metric tons in...
I am sorry. They all are spoken for now.
I may be able to get more if people want to register an interest. Dismantling isn't easy and as you can tell I'm fearful someone might just try sling one on charge in their kitchen and cause a fire. Met D today and passed 4 over. He talked the talk and I...

Got 8 (4 gone so now 4 left) surplus aluminium cased packs each with faulty BMS.
Each pack is 21Ah/705Wh and within each are 60x 3.5Ah LG INR18650MJ1
This is a difficult harvest but the cells I have taken from other similar packs are in good shape and very close to...
Second trip out and I reversed the polarity of my battery to my YK42-3 (accidentally).
A visual on the controller shows no exploded components. What typically goes first when you send -36v up the wrong way?
Any help is appreciated.
Andrew
This should be a simple answer but..
I am using an xlr connector for charging.
What should the circuit be for putting the thermister in a 36v nimh pack?
Where is the best place for the thermister to go?
Thanks
Andrew
Ahh pot one didn`t give any faster rpm on test but on the bike I notice more "power" on the hills.. I guess as this is the castrated euro version of the bike it could possibly be for the markets elsewhere.. I believe the pot on the side adjusts the pressure needed on the pedelec sensor.
Andrew
 it sure gets me around ok. There is a pot on the board and I was wondering what it did.. I`m guessing that it is the calibration for the voltage cut off?
Andrew
Just a reminder. If you have a Giant SuedeE, you can modify the pedalec torque sensor and make it power on demand too. It hits the battery harder and obviously range suffers. However in the UK it allows more fun when you can`t be bothered to pedal.
Andrew
Thanks! Just been changing rusty bolts etc after all it had been in a shed for quite a while.
That workshop is the best, you can`t see the overhead power. You can never have too many sockets either!
Andrew
It is a pity about the size of the hub. But I am on a budget. I`d love to get a nano! Even reusing the Giant battery pack+charger. Sits nicely in the side of the pannier. I have been told the Pioneer steel frames are very over engineered too. I was motivated by this picture I found on wiki!
Andrew
OK. Still waiting for a controller that works.. but here is the finished bike.
700c wheels, powabyke hub, 36v... more covert than the Giant!
Rack from ASDA, pannier from Aldi strengthened by polyurethane chopping boards from IKEA
The problem here is that the UK road fuel price is mostly tax. Fortunately forecourt LPG is 39% the price of petrol and the conversion cost around £1500 or $3000.
I`ll try and resize
The Suede is the devils spawn according to some Giant purists who hate hubs. Others don`t like the slope frame and the overall European looks. I have owned it for two years and have gone through four sets of front bake pads and three rear. The battery is 9ah NiMh from...
