    Bafang's factory specifications demand motor to be re-calibrated every time it has been open. I think, it's got something to do with torque sensor alignment. With this in mind, you can see why some companies will apply same strategy.

    Well I have my branded bike by "Norco" developing crack, suspension as well, near welds. It's always near weld line due to thermal stress. It was not abused, just snapped on trail. It's common issue, all bikes have this. Some more, others less. :thumb:

    I have two brand new Bafang Ultra motors, one in the bike, second spare. Ride just fine, opened one and it's just fine. Looks like it depends on individual motor, some are build better than others. I would not worry about it, it's cheap t replace, not like Bosch CX replacement cost :shock:
