Bafang BPM - to low top-speed?

Quick update: BMSBattery first replied that they had sent me the correct motor (328 RPM) and that the code i was refering to means nothing... I then sent the link to the thread d8veh reffered to (viewtopic.php?f=2&t=43106) and made it clear I was not satisfied with this reply, and pointed out...

Bafang BPM - to low top-speed?

Thanks again. I've sent an email to bmsbattery, and will post their reply here. Top speed is 34/35 km/h. Tested several times today. I'm only measuring speed with the speed sensor from bmsbattery, so I don't know how accurate it is. Have changed my preferred commute a bit to suit the bike...

    new stealthy-ish project

Thanks Dylan, but I've tried disconnecting the pas and use throttle only, with the exact same speed results. It seems BMSBattery have sent me a wrong winding - code engine, even if I ticked the 328 rpm motor when ordering. I have sent them an email and will post their reply. I've had some...

Bafang BPM - to low top-speed?

Yes, I thicked the 328 box... And BMSBattery claims through chat that they sent me the 328... I will test the bikes top speed (motor only) when we get a nice no wind day... But I'm pretty sure that it's close to 34 km/h. In a way I'm quite happy with the motor. Miss a little bit on the top...

Bafang BPM - to low top-speed?

Strange. I'm pretty sure that there are no such numbers on my motor, but I have to have a closer look again when I'm back home again tomorrow...

Bafang BPM - to low top-speed?

Sorry... Can't find the code number anywhere.. You have a picture ofwhere iit's supposed to be? I changed the max speed from the factory yes. First to 40 km/h, later to 60 km/h. The p1 value is still 214 (factory default) I have two different throttles and pas. Max speed is the same from...

Bafang BPM - to low top-speed?

Ok. Thanks for your reply. Can I mount "any" switch I like - or do I have to order the spesific one from BMSBattery.com ? The S12S controller from BMSBattery.com has no indication on either the contacts or connections diagram for it to be connected to a switch ... are you sure S12S be used with...

Bafang BPM - to low top-speed?

Hi I recently installed a Bafang BPM RWD 48v500w engine in a 700c wheel on my hybrid bike. Selected 328 RPM - version when I mostly bikes on flat or slightly hilly areas . Has set up a clean PAS operation - with S12S controller from BMSBattery.com and 12 pole magnet. The battery is a 48v10ah...

Does anyone have this manual / translation in speech that can be understood regarding the programing of the torque sine-wave controllers from BMSBattery? And a table with the pole counts of the different motors? It would be most welcome - Im really lost trying to understand any of this...

    new stealthy-ish project

Hmmm...... I think I need some help regarding my setup... Top speed (no load - bike upside down) - full throttle is: 41 km/h. Top speed (load - me on bike) is 34/35 km/t I have "programed" the LCD-display setting for max speed to 60 km/t. I would expect the BPM 48v500W (328RPM) in 700 c...

    new stealthy-ish project

Hi again. My build is more or less finished. I have build a PAS only (no throttle) system and I am more or less very pleased with the result. I have not been able to test the bike mutch (one 12 km trip to work and back home) but thought it could be useful for some others out there to share...

Very nice result Dylan, I hope to have something similar :-) One week ago I ordered my kit from BMSBattery with the torque - controller and small lcd screen. With the five level pas control (lcd) I hope to be able to set one of the levels to legal 25 km/T. Thanks for posting. Sure ain't...
