48v Briggs & Stratton Dc motor parts needed

Hi, i found out the brushes in my 48v DC B&S motor are worn and 2 are broken. Does the Manta source brushes fits in there ? I searched and didnt found any sources for the original B&S ones so i am a bit scarry to throw 80$ for the Manta ones not knowing if they fit :? Thanks for any help...

    Open Sensorless BLDC controller

anyone would dare to comment this: overlap method, from toshiba sensorless controller shaded area shows overlap wich claims to make the circuit more efficient and less noise ?? i did try this chip and yes, it significantly reduces trapezoidal commutation noise. i am wondering how to implement...

    Brushed motor controller circuit

Hi, its been a while since i posted here. I found myself a real briggs brushed motor, i was wondering about high power circuit for thoses kind of motor, ie 10kw+ I looked at some Altrax units and such. Anyone would share circuit ? thanks !

    Brushed motor alternative to Etek/Mars

fwiw we found a perfect candidate. LEM 130. not cheap. Anyone have dealt with Heinzmann products ? They seems to have very nice products. http://www.heinzmann.com/en/electric-and-hybrid-drives/disc-motors/synchronous-motors

Home made controller for a MARS BLDC

Hi, its been a while since i made a post. I recently changed my fets again, with genuine 80NF70. I run the whole thing at 24v for now. Changed a lot of things in my code. Works very very great, no issue so for, no melt and plenty of fun. For now maximum current i read is around 250amp on a step...

    GNG 350w vs 450w brushless

So then the only question that remains to me, the GEN2 doesnt support plug-in PAS feature isnt it ? one need to get a proper controller to go along with that. What is yours if you dont mind, id like to see that !! thanks for the clever explanation. :D

    GNG 350w vs 450w brushless

FWIW i bought the 350w GEN2 and have made a lot of runs with it on my bike, realy like it. no problem reported so far. only complain for now is the throtle twist that is cheapo and no on/off switch provided.

    Brushed motor alternative to Etek/Mars

Thanks for thoses details, been searching for a link to potentialy purchase the motor/controller (mini monster), but apparently there is none...or i didnt searched right ? The LEM-130 has a very nice package/size compared to the Etek. Yes, 1400$ is considered for the motor...

    Brushed motor alternative to Etek/Mars

Hi, me and one of my friend, who owns a huge machine shop with a CNC and several expensive metal work tools, wants to build a one-off "de ville" strong E-bike. He did try my Etek toy jeep, still under work, and is totaly dumb crazy about the feel of such thing, so he convinced himself that he...

Arlo's power stage Leaf controller runs and drives page 103

as i am building the controller for my ETEK motor, i am thinking about making a generic PCB for the controller/low power side, power side beign relatively adaptable for the needs...duno if there would be demands for such thing. fwiw i am making very good progress with this and it works very well...

it might been asked million time already, but what is the motor you are using ? spec or data sheet out of it ? thanks.

    GNG 350w vs 450w brushless

well, their web site clearly mention its a brushLESS motor. Unless they made a mistake, thats what i am asking for, ie, brushless motor kit, either belt drive or planetary gear reduction. http://www.gngebike.com/36v350w-48v400w-gen2

    GNG 350w vs 450w brushless

Hi, thanks very much for thoses info, yeah i was very worried about the noise of the geared one versus the one with the toothed belt. Since i am making my own controller for another purpose (Mars Me0907 motor 15hp peak  ) i think i could fix the controller upon my needs  Will...

    GNG 350w vs 450w brushless

hi, thanks for the reply, i havent seen that one yet gen2...their web page is all fu*#@$ up. Jon just replied me 36v kit, controller accep 36-39v 48v kit: controoler accept 48-50v :? this is very narrow operating range i would say, maybe he didnt understood my question. :?:

    GNG 350w vs 450w brushless

Hi, i am about to buy one of theses kits mid drive "mud guard" I am in contact with Jon but its hard to communicate with him, i need to know if themotors are the same, and what differences in both kit, ie just the controller ? and also what is the accepted voltage range for both units. Jon told...

    Open Sensorless BLDC controller

awesome. I knew there has to be somthing similar to what i am doing. Right now the ramp of the pwm/speed input request is much slower than my current measurements so i guess i am safe for now. My pic 16 has only 8 bit PWM accuracy so to reach 0-255 (full speed) it takes about 800msec. Motor...

    Open Sensorless BLDC controller

Hi, question for the owner of this thread how do you manage acceleration of the motor versus speed input ? i mean, if the user slam dunk the speed to the maximum, do you allow the pwm to be increased up until it reaches a given maximum current, or you allow some sort of "ramping" of the pwm...

Home made controller for a MARS BLDC

I just added a second NAND gate from this century, still 4011 so not the best choice ever (a 74xx is on the go with 4ns prop delay), on the low drive so all the pwm outs are now "equalised" in time. There is a 30ns propagation delay from mcu to driver on all pwm outputs, low and high. So now the...
