Volts = RPM
Amps = Torque

As I recall, slow wind motors pull best at low rpm's. Although a fast wind motor can bull through that with enough volts and amps. Depending on the weight you are pulling and the hills you climb.

I run on a yescomusa.com motor that was inexpensive for the kit and has been very dependable. For more on that check out wesnewells thread here:https://endless-sphere.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=66302

yea, was looking at some 1500w kits with a 22A controller

wouldn't I be better off buying a 1000w motor with a 30A controller?

What happened to the rest of your post? It seems to have disappeared?

Anyway, 48v 30A systems do what most of us around here want. However, you need to make sure your battery can handle a 30A controller. I was going to double check for you but your post vanished.

Generally people having a hissy fit because they don't get the answers they want do that sort of thing, destroying info (and questions) that would be helpful to others.

I'd just add him to your foes list (so that you don't have to worry about wasting time trying to help him again in future, and having him do the same thing again) and move on.

Life is about moving on for sure.
