$14.99 72v Sunwin Controller

What are the thoughts on this seller and model, not labelled sunwin but shipping to US is MUCH faster! UPDATE, just zoomed in the pic and noticed it does in fact say Sunwin E-Commerce Ltd at the bottom of the sticker!

http://www.ebay.com/itm/272137630208?var=570948302727

Also, would there be any difference in FETS between 72 and 84v model? I'm thinking its and additional $4 for LVC pad change.

How has no one connected ttl adapter and tried communicating with the mcu yet??

The number of fets will depend on which watt model you get. Both will have 18 fets if you get the 1500w version.

That ebay seller you've linked to seems a lot more expensive than Sunwin themselves? Is the shipping that much quicker?

Useful info from that ebay link:

Cable connection:
The power Cables : big red + big black
phase cables: big yellow + big green + big blue
Electric door lock cable: middle red
Hall cable: small red, small black, small yellow, small green, small blue
Throttle cables: small red + small blue + small black
Speed cable: blue(high speed) + black + yellow(low speed)
Brake-Hi Cable: yellow
Brake-Low Cable: Brown
Anti-theft Cables: Red(positive)+ black(power) red(e-start) + Blue(motor Lock signal) + Green(Motor Lock)
Self-study Cable: two white cables with black plugs
E-ABS(optical):two blue cable matched
Cruise(Optical):two Gray cables connecting together

$58 BIN and Delivery: Estimated between Sat. Jun. 18 and Sat. Jul. 2 for the "other seller"

$53 BIN and Delivery: Estimated between Mon. Jun. 27 and Mon. Aug. 1 for SunWin

I'll spend 5 extra bucks to get it several weeks earlier.

BTW, I've been digging and here are the instructions and software for programming the Lyen controllers with the EB3xx 3108A controllers
http://lyen.com/Manual/Mark_II

and the cabling connection

I have successfully programmed my Lyen 18 FET controller several times.
Just haven't tried with the Sunwin controllers.... yet. I have other projects on the go.

BTW that Mark_II Lyen.com link is internal to Lyen himself. He gives it out to his customers. Maybe this is another "Merry-Go-Round" because its been talked about before on this forum.

tx and hi sounds like fun.

Fun indeed
TX - Low speed climbing (high torque)
LO - Three-speed button
HI - Afterburner acceleration (speeding) the Hall mode is active, inactive without Hall

Yes there is a difference in FETS between the 2 models. Previous page (bottom of page 9 - last post) I posted what the 18FET models were.

https://endless-sphere.com/forums/download/file.php?id=195385&mode=view
*Notice that the selectable 72V / 84V 1500W is only 15FET.

18 MOSFETS are:
Selectable 48V / 60V / 72V 1000W
48V 1500W
60V 1500W
84V 1500W

It seems programs are not all the same.
I have Lyen's, Pauls Em3ev, and Keywins and all are different. Controllers are almost the same, same eb3xx be it 6 ! 24 fet the program does or doesn't work. Tried to use Keywins on pauls and it didn't work? Lyens on Keywins and it didn't work. It might of changed but not what I was looking to do? Maybe I missed something or did it wrong.
If these were programmable I'd jump fast. If not I will stay with the Infinion style, love the programmability,
Went from 12s to 18s and it was too jumpy, so I change the amperage from 40 down to 15. that made it ride able. I know you guys are looking for a lot more power than I am now. No more 130mph for me. had my fill 35 years ago.

When your controller gets to you, open it up and get the info so we can add that info to the list.

will do! I asked the seller the dimensions of that particular model.. 222-225mm length are usually indicative of the 18-fet design right?

I wouldnt really put faith in that based on the size of the controller.
Do your own judgement, based on what we already know. Whats on the list.

i have tryed about every program and non are working at programming this controller.
think i need something like this so i can dump the chip info and fint out how to program it.

Updated spreadsheet.

I think we have most versions covered now. Has anyone checked the stock current limit of their controller yet? I'm wondering if the "series" label has any relevance to this? For example my latest one is SH72U45GV-18T-WZ3

SH = Sunwin?
72U = Rated Voltage
45GV = Rated Current?
18T = Number of fets
WZ3 = Not Sure!

hi i have bought a controller off you, is there any chance i could get a copy of the factory programming software. i can sort out the programming lead and connrctions myself.

Thanks for your message
We check with the factory and they said they do not offer the programming software.
We do appreciate your understanding and time.
If you have any questions,feel free to contact us,we are always here to serve you.
Best regards

ask the factory to sell you a copy and then i will pay you what you want for it.. name your price.

Thanks for your message
We check it the factory and they said this is factory technology secrets

So who sets the parameters for the controllers? Are they all pre-programmed exactly the same? That would mean every controller has the same current limit which I'm not sure is true.

Who did you get in touch with for that live chat?

I imagine this will result in the need for reverse engineering. They either have the program and won't share it, or don't have it. Either way, the result is the same.
