14" Fatbike wheel with hub motor. Does it exist?

https://www.leafbike.com/products/e-bike-hub-motor/c-1/
I see 14" but they doubtfully would be for fat tires.
I see 20" fat. https://www.leafbike.com/products/beach-snow-fat-bike-kit/20-inch-48v-52v-1000w-rear-hub-motor-beach-snow-fat-tire-bike-conversion-kit-1057.html

You may have to go mid drive.

Does anybody on jhere know if a wheel such as this exists?

You question is actually a bit vague. There are hubmotors in or that can be put in virtually any wheel size that is a available. Your question if vague, because tire a wheel sizes are measured differently for different applications. eg a 16" moped tire can often be used on a 20" bicycle rim. While I've never heard of a fatbike tire quoted in a size less than 20", that doesn't mean that someone isn't calling some new fatbike wheel a 14" that actually has an extra wide 12" little kids bike rim since the OD of the tire would be something around 14". There are hubmotors with 14" motorcycle rims and the tires on those would be quite fat compared to traditional bicycle wheels, and there hubmotors that come with 8" or 10" rims with even fatter tires that end up in the 14"-16" OD diameter range.

Do you know exactly the tire size you're looking for? If not what is it you are trying to accomplish.

If you find a 14" rim that meets your needs, someone can put a motor in it.

I was trying to find a 20"x60 mm rim last Fall. Had to settle for 20"x80mm, single wall. Couldn't find a 135mm front motor either. Had to settle for a 135mm rear motor.

Are you wanting this sort of ""Fat tire?" Our first thought would be more exxxtreme.

I can find you fatter than THAT. https://www.leafbike.com/products/e-bike-hub-motor/14-inch-48v-52v-1000w-front-casted-hub-motor-electric-bike-wheel-1157.html

Meanwhile, is everyone foorgetting? A 10" motorcycle rim is a 14" in the bicycle realm. Better than using bicycle tire, use one for a motorcycle or scooter oh, much fatness in the scoooter section . If you don't want to lace it yourself there's an array of options.

Sorry for the lack of clarification, here is what i am trying to accomplish.

IMG_20200301_133835.jpg

i have built this mashup mountainboard with a single wheel at the back that is currently 16inches OD with tire.

However, i feel that the 16" wheel is aesthetically too big and I would like to go with an overall wheel size of 14" and extra wide like a fat tire. The idea of lacing a motor to an existing rim sounds like a good plan, i just need to source the right size tire, rim and motor. any help with this is greatly appreciated

You can buy small size hub motor wheels with integrated rim, no spokes. They are common in China. Shop them on aliexpress or manufacturer direct at http://www.cnqsmotor.com/en/

Note that those are listed as motorcycle sizes, meaning that a 10 inch would be about 14 inch OD tire.

So far it looks like the most cost effective way to go is with this motor, https://www.leafbike.com/products/e-bike-hub-motor/14-inch-36v-750w-rear-electric-scooter-motor-710.html

is Leafmotor a reliable company to order from? are they still operating with the current Covid-19 virus shutting china down?

https://www.leafbike.com/ is a reputable company in terms of products delivered. Have no clue as to quality of battery.

There is another company named LeafMotor, which could be related, probably not but who knows. No clue as to reputable or not.

By the way, Goldenmotor.ca = Canada is better then Goldenmotor.com

Cool device. I'd modify it as needed, to run a scooter motor wheel. With fatter tire. It will be some kind of cast rim, not laced wheel.

Re covid, no way we can know if anything ships or not. So risk little money, or ideally, look for local source. I'd look at flea markets for broke down old scooters. If they stay open. Golden Canada good idea too.
