2003 Xtreme 360, 350W, 36V seated scooter

To say the least, I am a newbie when it comes to electric scooters, however I am attempting a re-build as I do have some mechanical knowledge. Does anyone has a wiring diagram for a 2003 X-treme 350W, 36V, seated electric scooter (pics below)? I bought a "Brainstorm Intelligent Brushless Controller" PFB12969278; 36-48V, 350W, 13A.
I connected only the motor, battery, power (key switch) and throttle and was sooo happy when it turned on! Then I connected the other wires (brake, brake light, hall sensor) and when turned on....nothing. Can anyone help me? So disappointed. Thanks in advance!

I bet you'll have a hard time finding a wiring pinout.

I suggest removing the connectors one by one and checking the bike for throttle function. This will help you isolate what is connected to the controller that's causing trouble. Diagnosis would be easy to complete from there. Good luck!

A faulty or incompatible brake shut-off switch. Unplug the brake switch, and it will work. I recommend the Wuxing brand ebike/scooter brake levers with the cut-off switch. Sometimes reversing the brake switch polarity solves the problem.

Thanks for the input, Neptronix and 2Phast2Delirious! I'm so long replying as I became very frustrated with this project and decided to take a break, but now I'm ready to begin again! I will try everything you guys mentioned and get back, probably with more questions.
