I am thinking of this bike for a 250w front hubmotor. It checks all the boxes for me:
- a 2 speed IGH
- front v-brake
- 24" tires
- chain guard and fenders
- Big Apple tires
- and importantly, $500 list price
The color is um, not so great, but whatever.
My e-biking is just low speed, low stress, low miles. 250 watts and a small battery work fine for me on my two existing bikes.
My main question: Are the "integrated hi-tensile steel" forks strong enough for a 250 watt motor?
Otherwise, any objections to my idea?
And oh yeah, how does the "automatic shifting" hub work? Simply road speed, somehow?
