Hello,

Just got my ebike setup and running... I have a 408 with a 48v LIFEpo4 running on a 36v-72v clyte start immediate controller...problem is the bike doesn't start immediate.... if I sit on it and turn the throttle the motor moves forward for half a second and stops.. however, if I start moving the bike by pedalling then kick in the throttle the thing goes just fine... i rode all over with no issues.. just doesn't start from a stop. Any ideas??

Over current maybe? I bet your lifepo4 pack is tripping when you apply throttle from a stop you're going to punish your components... even tiny bit of rolling will help. Do you have a Watts-Up or Cycle Analyst? That will show you how many amps you're drawing from a stand still.

Im gonna' install my watts up meter today and see what it says... when I lift the bike wheel off the ground and turn the throttle all works perfects.. its when there's any friction or weight on the wheel that it won't start from a standstill...
