The stock 44T on my FS MTB is right there. In fact, from the marks, the ring appears to occasionally "kiss" the swingarm.
I've read here that some folks have "spaced-out" a larger ring and I have searched here, but the topic is incidental, making it tough to nail down.
Is it simply a matter of washers and longer bolts?
Anyone had interference further back on the chain run? Mine is tight all the way back and it would appear that 48/11 run would bring the chain perilously close to the inside of the chainstay near the drop-outs.

Thanks

BTW, The Bike Stop has all Salsa chain rings @ 10% off.
