Full Suspension Longtail: 20" 104V HT3525 rear and 29" front

High Voltage because I weigh 275 pounds and the bike (with batteries) weighs about 110 to 120 pounds before cargo and/or hooking up my BOB trailer. I use the HT3525 in a 20" wheel to minimize the risk of overheating on the SoCal coastal hills where I live that are full of 6% to 12% grades.

Veloman is right that acceleration is great (even with all the mass to move) and I very quickly acheive rpm that reduces phase wire current to low levels. Look at Justin's simulator for wot and lesser throttle phase currents with a 395# load and grades of 6% to 12%. Look at how high they get when you move the speed bar down to 5mph or 10mph on both the 3525 and 3540. The phase currents are much higher with the 3540. Then compare the phase currents at the same speeds with 24" or 26" wheels.

The 30A limit I've set for the 18 4115 FET controller doesn't stress the controller and caps the max continuous drain on the batteries to 2C on cells rated at 3C (albeit with pronounced sag at 3C)
