Hello,

I've found some high voltage (60v, 80v) front light but I haven't found any decent for the rear light.

I found some for scooter but they are MASSIVE.

Anyone know a small high voltage rear light??

High is super relative, when you say high voltage, I think 14 million volts, maybe in the world of electric bicycles 36v is kind of typical, but electric vehicles, 80v is probably low. High and low, opinions and relative, blah blah.

Thanks for your answer both. I think ebike.ca site is way too expensive for a rear light 60$.

I said high voltage but it's really about 60-80v, which is low voltage for some people. Ebay link doesn't seem too bad, I'm enquiring about it :)

I've got some of those but they're not even close to waterproof. And they're almost too bright for tail lamp.

Pack voltage tail light is PITA. it's one thing to tap headlight into CA but the tail light requires wire run and nothing's quite perfect either. These are new favorite: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271508102711

What other solution could I have?
You could DIY one:

scroll down a little in the post for the taillight part

Might be easier to do from here:

Keep in mind that not all CFLs will startup on only 60V, and CFLs are glass so you have to mount them to not get too much vibration (I did break some over time because of that).

If I didnt' have LED taillights and halogen car headlights now, I might still be using CFLs for them.
