Long story short

I have a 72v ebike(500w hub, SLA 20ah batteries 6 12v in series), the controller has 100v caps and 24 100v FETs, I put a 12v batteries in series to go up to 84v, but the controller won't run the bike when it detects over 90v because of the high voltage cutoff (bike is ~101.8v fully charged, I'm guessing it's because of the 10% tolerance of the components)

Am I better off leaving the bike at 72v fully charged (~84v full charge with a ~64v low voltage cut off) or should I leave the 84v setup in and only charge it to 90v (low voltage cut off at ~75v)

The bike is about 6km faster with the 84v setup, I'm trying to find a controller with no luck so far.

Thanks!
