Ad speed limit wire to controllers

I’m waiting for 2 scooters (zero9). The controller for this scooter sometimes comes with the speed limited and it’s usually disabled by cutting a white wire. Now I know that my controller won’t have that wire coming from controller. Wondering if someone know where on the board this wire is solded? This controller is similar to many others and thinking the controller board is well known by some in this forum.

(My plan is to have a relay with remote to be able to deactivate speed limit when needed. As scooters are for my 10 and 8 year old children).

Some controllers are speed limited in the firmware. It also depends on your wheel size and the motor winding as to what the speed will actually be, whether limted or not.

I don't know what pads might be used for the speed limit, but if you find one marked SL, you could try connecting it to any ground pad, and see if ti reduces the max speed. If not, just disconnect it.

Antoher way of limiting speed is determining what the full throttle speed is, then adding a resistive voltage divider on the output of the throttle signal so it reduces the throttle maximum to whatever generates the speed you want to limit to. So this is an option if you can't do it the other way.

Thank you!
Will open The controller when scooter arrives and check. Will ad pic here.
Adding adjustable resistor to throttle wire will only limit power as I understand. Want full power to the specific speed. Some call the cable European cable as it’s for speed limit due to law. Picture here looks very similar like the controller on these scooters.

Will see how the pic quality is on my attachment. I will tr anyway.
