So i had this problem with my bike. It was left on charge with ignition on and the motor went in smoke. Don't know what cause that but after sorting the motor Magura throttle started working as a switch meaning it would accelerate just by touching and the controller would cut off with throttle out of range error. I then connected 5k micro pot, the ones you have in Chinese chargers and all worked fine. So i thought it was throttle and bought Domino throttle. The problem still remained when i fitted new throttle. I loaded controller software and changed throttle from 0-5k to 0-5V and all started working again.
The problem is i had resistor in parallel to the throttle for speed limiting for city drive and that does not work anymore. It feels like it reduces power somewhat but not the top speed.
Any advice on this is much appreciated? Is it the controller f*cked?
