Well I`ve decided I need to be able to do simple animated 3D graphics (although throwing "simple" into the phrase is a bit of an oxymoron!), so just wish to file here a couple of links...

Running under Vista, a fun low end bit of freeware named Anim8or, found here:

I'm not sure about simple, but blender can do just about anything and there are many tutorials out there.

I made this in blender, but never finished it
