If so, what motor did you use, and how's that working out for you?
I got myself a Voltbike Yukon, and I think I've caught the ebike bug.
Now I want to try my hand at doing a do-it-yourself build.
My soon-to-be 13-year-old has a Roam 2 (small) and I'm thinking it would be fun to fit it with a less expensive hub motor so he can keep up with me a little easier. I'd like to keep the total budget to around $500CAD, battery included.
