I'm thinking of picking up one of these and converting it to electric.
Most of this school year I've had to drive a car (I teach) because of transportation issues with my kids and their schools, but next school year I'm free and clear to go to work and back each day on whatever I choose.
There's a shortcut to work that involves dirt, gravel, some paved paths, and the occasional bit of light mud.
I'm thinking that something like this might be fast and fun. Drop in 36 or 28 volts and I could probably squeeze out a 12-15 minute commute each way.
Anyone know what the spread is on those rear dropouts (or a close guestimate)? The frame is chromoly, so that's good.
Thanks
Mike
