Apollo Phantom V2 shuts down and you have to walk home pushing your scooter.
"The Walk of Shame!
There is two ways I know of that prevents this problem from happening.

#1-method
I noticed the Apollo Phantom scooter will not shutdown if you are riding in gear "1" or in gear "2"
and not in "sport mode".
This cuts the current in half and doubles distance and your overall ride time.
I am hitting about 55-60 KM in setting #2 (non Sport Mode) Fully charged battery!
It will simply continue to slow down as the voltage drops. Speed slowly diminishes from approx. 55 kph to
10 kph at which point your battery is depleted (over a period of half hour from 45 to 39 volts) and you have to shutdown or risk ruining your battery.

The reason it shuts down, the overall voltage drop caused by the two motors running in rapid acceleration or maintaining high speed
causes the voltage to drop below the cut-off voltage.
Watch your voltage meter to confirm and prove this!

The problem with the Apollo Phantom V2 is there is no reset button to get you going again.
There is plenty of watts available for another half hour to get you home.
The voltage drop is only temporary but the "Shutdown" is permanent!
You walk home in the "Walk of Shame"

So... use "gear 2 and single motor for the last half of your ride and the Phantom v2 will not shut down!

#2 method
I noticed when I did the "Walk of Shame" - arriving at home I plugged in my charger and my Apollo Phantom V2 reset itself and I immediately had enough volts and amps left for another half hour of ride time in gear two - one motor ( non-sport mode). Plenty to get home on.

So... I made a simple "Voltage booster" and brought a 4 cell LIPO battery 16.8 volts to 58.6 volts at 1.5 amps.
If I accidentally get "Shutdown" from the Cut-off voltage, I simply plug in my little battery booster for only 2 seconds,
The Apollo Phantom V2 resets itself
Remove the booster and proceed home in Gear 2 (Non-Sport Mode).

this happens because when the scooter begins to overheat it will shut down to prevent you from destroying it. normally there's only occurs if the temperature is near 100° f and you've gone on a 15 or 20 mi ride up a hill or if when you're riding you constantly jiggle the throttle back and forth for absolutely no reason creating an extreme amount of heat inside the scooter. if you ride the scooter properly you will not have this problem. if you have any more questions you can feel free to contact me as I am the new agent in charge of this model as Apollo has lost all sales rights for being international thieves.
