Aprilia controller ...... help needed

The controller of my Aprilia Enjoy is faulty. I used a multimeter to check the values and it turned out that the 12V part of it works, but the output to the motor does not.
Would it be possible to connect a simple controller to the wires that do work in order to operate the motor?
In the diagram are the values I measured.

The Aprilia Enjoy is one incredibly great machine.

What I would do (and this is not necessarily "good advice" if you are a beginner at all this) is trick this bike out by modifying the batteries from 24 volts up to 36 volts. Then yank out all the controller stuff that has all sorts of built in speed limitations to it and just use a 36 volt 25 amp controller instead. Just pretend all the circuitry doesn't exist and go around it. Try to hide what you do so that if you get pulled over the police won't have anything to look at.

If after using it for a while you realize that heating is a problem then you might try to find a lower amp limit controller. My guess is that you could survive the extra power. (600 watt peak most likely) 8)

If the motor is brushed then you could buy one of these (see below), otherwise you will need a brushless controller. Are you familiar with the difference? (I don't know which type this bike uses)

If you raise the voltage you will need to manage the charging with a different charger. You might spend some time in our "Battery Technology" area and look into tricking out the battery too.

When the bike breaks, that's the best time to upgrade to a higher powered setup. You have to replace stuff anyway, why not make the bike faster?

This isn't an answer to your question but I would love to see more pictures of your Aprilia. That's the first bike that got me really interested in this hobby. I just love Aprilia styling in general.

It's funny though, I saw a picture of one without the bodywork and there wasn't much to the frame at all (kind of like a sport bike without fairings). Still... Very interesting bike. I would love to have one but I've never seen a used one for sale here in the United States.

I would also love to find an Aprilia RS50 with a blown motor and convert it to electric. I doubt I'll ever find that either. lol

Thanks for the advice "safe". As a matter of fact, I did consider the options you mention, but I decided not to for the near future. Instead I bought a second Enjoy. Now I have both a Racing and a City. I use the Racing, because I love the design (I have so since I first saw it) and I keep the City for spare parts. However, I would like to be able to use both bikes, so I need to replace the faulty controller. I want to change as little as possible for the time being.
By the way, the motor is brushed.

You could use just about any brushed controller with the right ratings to run the motor, but you would lose many of the functions of the original controller. You could use a 'standard' grip throttle and have an instant start setup. Interfacing the torque sensor might be difficult.

I would suggest double checking all the wire connections. From the diagram, it looks like there are quite a few places a loose connection could cause the motor to not run.

The brake switch, torque sensor and speed sensor would be the first place to look.

I checked all the switches and sensors according to the manual. Everything functions according to the values in the manual. The only ( ) problem is that these inputs are not translated into the 24V current to the motor. That is why I am curious whether it would be possible to use another controller to read the output of the 2 sensors and the brake switches in order to supply the 24V to the motor.

I bought my Racing with a faulty controller and bought the City with a good one. I then switched the controllers, so now I am able to enjoy the ride of my Racing, but I would like to use the City when I need to (luggage capacity).

if by "two sensors" you mean the speed sensor and the torque sensor i think you are out of luck.

torque sensors in particular are proprietary devices. they connect to proprietary controllers and work to control the power to the motor in different ways.

Universal controllers have a throttle input and brake inhibit inputs. the speed of the motor is controlled by the throttle.

if you wnat to use the sensors you will have to spring for an Aprilla controller

You might be able to hook the torque sensor straight to the throttle input on a generic controller. Most controllers will have full speed at 4v input to the throttle connection.

Who cares about the brake switches? Just don't pedal with the brakes on.

The fact that you can swap controllers and the problem goes with the controller indicates the problem is inside the box, not the senors.

I would open up the controller and see if there were any obvious problems (assuming this is even possible).
