Help with controller that has no phase output

It runs both ways, didn't make much difference with or without the sensor wires from what I could tell as I haven't had a full test ride on it yet. There did seem to be a sound coming from the wheel at low revs that seemed to dissapear at higher revs with the new controller but not sure if that's the phases or nothing at all as it does it with or without the sensor wire.
