Archer components D1x Gen 2 battery 12v connect to bafang ebike?

Hey I use Archer Components gear shifting on my hybrid front drive - the battery doesnt last as per their claims! Is there a way to connect this unit direct to my Bafang hub system, one of the empty plugs on the harness maybe?

Maybe a DC-DC converter. There are all kinds. Hook it the display cable. There is a pin that switches to battery power when the display is turned on. Maybe add a small fuse.
