I'm looking for a charger properly approved (not just a compliance mark randomly printed on a box!) to Australian RCM.
58.8V around the 10A area. Ideally it would be selectable between say 6 & 10A, but that's just a wish.

I've seen a few at lower amperage, but nothing close to 10A so far.

If anyone knows of something I'd appreciate a pointer in the right direction.

Why does it have to be specifically aus rcm certified? Or can some other standard be acceptable. Don't know if this is an answer to your question but would a quality charger such as the satiator suit your needs?
Highly programmable, does up to 63v @8amps. Worldwide certification etc. Find it at

The HLG600 series is RCM marked and will come close, but tops off at 54v.

If you're not negotiable on the RCM, then you have a few options.

1. You could use a DC to DC converter to get the last 4.4v it's an 11amp capable switch mode, so you have a bit to lose and still hit your target current.

2. You could tolerate a 4.4v under-charge to extend longevity of your battery - albeit losing 20% of your capacity. Edit, just noticed the datasheet says it goes to 56.7v That's 4.05v per cell on a 14S battery, so less than a 10% loss in capacity.

3. You could buy one and hope for the best - I've had some meanwells which would put out about 10% higher than their rating and performed perfectly well for years.

4. There are much larger ones, but from memory above HLG600, the prices start skyrocketing for anything over an amp or two.
