Wanted to see what your guys opinion is regarding the three controllers and any experience you had with them.
S09P, S12P or S12S controller

S09P and S12P are for sensorless motors. Most BPMs are sensored, so a S12S would be much better.

I search another controller for my BPM, i've actually a KU93...

I dont want LCD led panel but ok for LED panel 890: https://bmsbattery.com/ebike-kit/549-s-led890-e-bike-led-meter-ebike-kit.html?search_query=led+meter&results=42

I see S12S and S12P controller from bmsbattery.

I want understand difference between the two.

S12P + LED panel: power is different with 3 levels? (exemple level 1, 400w, level 2 800w, level 3 1200w for 48v battery)
Good acceleration, best that S12S?

S12S + LED panel: what is different of S12P + led panel??? just sinus wave or other???

THANKS.

Have you considered using the controller built into the 09 Dolphin Battery 11.6amp im getting 850 watts peak from it using BPM2 500watt 48V MOTOR
and theres non of the complex wireing to do, and its simple....

It's not my question sorry... And i've a new lipo 12s 12ah battery... with 120a continuous possible

lipo 12s = 50v and S12S or S12P= 30a max so 50x30= 1500w max... why?

I forget: i dont use PAS, 3 levels of power are ok with LED panel without PAS???

It's not my question: i ask difference S12P and S12S

S12S is a sinewave controller that only works with sensored motors. S12P is a squarewave controller for sensorless motors. The sinewave one is a lot smoother and quieter.

Do not try and run either of these controllers without the LCD unless you buy the LCD and use it to setup the controller first. The main advantagevof these controllers is their suerior PAS control. You lose that if you don't use the LCD, so no point in getting one.

OK, thanks!

I search a sinewave controller for my BPM but without LCD or LED controller and with 3 speed switch. Possible to find this on the net?

Be careful, nearly all the sinewave controllers require a LCD. Sometimes, the vendors will provide a bypass connector and tell you that it works without the LCD, but it needs to be setup with the LCD first, so you still need to buy the LCD.

It seems you can run without an LCD if you first program the controller using an LCD.
So you cannot run without an LCD if you have not programmed the controller
to run without an LCD. And you can only do that if you have a controller
when you do the programming.
