Bafang E-SWXH-R 36V 250W motor hub sound/clunk

Hi,

I have a Bafang E-SWXH-R 36V 250W motor hub mounted on a bike. And after my first ride I noticed a sound/clunk when I power the motor. Without the power there is no sound.

Can you tell from where do you think the clunk comes?

I found the problem. The hall sensor wires from inside the motor were touching the aluminium casing and they were making short circuit.

I posted a photo.
