Battery Cost

Purchased the battery (less than $300 + $35 for charger) more than a year ago, so not positive, but they were Samsung 2.0V, so 5p AIR.

I want to add a plug for the Ping battery. I have a 48v 20ah Ping that I bought in 2009. It saw a lot of use the first couple of years with maybe two 30-mile round trip commutes per week. The past 4 years it has only been used a couple times per year and sits for over six months at a time in my shed without charging. I cleaned out my shed last week and pulled the bike out for the first time in almost a year thinking it must surely be dead by now. I put some air in the tires, turned the key and hit the thumb throttle and took off for a ride around the neighborhood without any charging. Still plenty of juice, pulled strong with no sag. Not bad for a 7 year old battery.
