Hi guys.

I have these A123 26650 M1b cells. I would like to run a cycle test on a single cell.

So far I have seen Powerlab 6, CBA IV, and iChargers on the internet. There may be other equipment or makes I don't know about.

Objective: Identify long term cycle effect of the cells at 1C, 2C, 3C, etc.

Requirements:
single cell test
LifePo4 or LiPoly
output to computer for logs and graphs
Very much like minimum 10 cycles of charge-discharge automatically, and data is logged on computer.
Ideally, this piece of equipment can measure internal resistance
Discharge at least 5A. Would be cool to discharge 20A or 40A.
Less than $300.

For people who have used these type of equipment, what do you suggest?

Thanks.

With the FMA, you would be able to discharge that single cell @ 40A and charge it to 20A. For the 40A discharge, you will need to use a car battery. I have three of those Powerlab 8 and I can't complain about them. Warranty service is painless and is USA based.

I still charge my old white sleeved A123 cells @ 20A on a regular basis.

Fred Marks is the chief (or used to be) of FMA and he is the US based president and one of Bob Boucher's (of AstroFlight fame) comtemporaries. One hell of an electronics engineer. I am not surprised FMA makes good stuff! These guys were at the forefront of hobby battery chargers in the 1960's and 1970"s.
