I have a thumb throttle with a power button and 3 led battery meter, except the OEM battery meter never worked. The led's were always lit, and Grok tells me that failure is caused by a voltage mismatch. The battery meter expects a different voltage, and glitches out.
I bought one of the programmable $9 battery meters from Amazon and I set it specifically for my LiFePO4 battery.
I opened the throttle and removed the battery meter circuit board and extended the ground and full pack voltage wire from inside the throttle to connect to the replacement battery meter.
It works. I can toggle between a voltage reading or a percent of charge screen, and the power button shuts the new meter off
I mounted it to the bike using a handlebar phone mount.
