Hey all,

I need help reviving a battery 72v 12600w battery I don't have the means to fix it myself but I can't find anyone who can help me in Philadelphia

We'll need complete details on the battery and whatever problem it has, and anything that led up to the problem, and the tools you have to help diagnose it with (at minimum you will need a multimeter).

If you can't do any diagnosing (or repair) then I can move this thread to the help wanted section, where someone may come along that can do it for you.

I also recommend you edit your original post to change the title to something relevant to your problem, rather than just a single word naming your location. I can't imagine many people coming to help fix a battery in a thread titled "Philadelphia". ;)

Thanks for your help first time in a long time I can't help myself gonna have to pick up a new hobby

Battery was premade from the site it says

72v 70a 12600w

don't know the type of cells
Not nearly enough info as it doesn't add anything significant to the original info; I'll have to wait for the other requested info including that about the problem itself before I can help. As much detail as possible is better. The less info we have, the less we can help.

If you aren't sure what info to look for / provide about the battery, then you can post the link to the battery sale page, so we can check it ourselves.

Maybe check your local online classifieds for a home gamer doing battery repair/building.

Might be the bms cutting out. Can you bypass the bms?

This is all new territory for me I have no idea where to look I lucked up thinking about forums. In my research so far it seems that it likely is the bms but I don't have the equipment to check it let alone to put it back together unfortunately

A link to the site would be helpful
Later floyd
I the battery is a from an escooter I bought I It worked once for maybe a week it's highly possible that some cells drained to much and the bms won't allow it to charge. I just have no way to charge each cell individually
Seller web site? Where did you buy the battery/escooter? Any chance you might know who made it?

A bit of advice:

If every bit of info you give has to be dragged out by people trying to help you, it's unlikely they'll want to.

If you try to help those trying to help you, the whole process will be easier and more successful.

Good luck with your repair.

Info didn't need to be dragged out I gave what I have.

I didn't need it to be diagnosed.

It doesn't charge Simple as that. I know it's possible to be manually charged if there's not something else wrong.

I'm here to see if there was anyone capable of maybe fixing it in Philadelphia that's all.
