It is possible with a couple of diodes and a switch (high current types) to change your battery pack from a parallel configuration to a series configuration (or a multipole connector or switch could be used). This would produce a double voltage "Turbo" mode. For example 12S might be the parallel configuration producing perhaps 20 mph performance, and then switching would make 24S and perhaps 40 mph. Somewhat like the speed switch, but this is a true series parallel shift. Wondering if anyone is doing this or has tried it and how it worked out.

Instead of using a big expensive switch on the high amp primary circuit, why not leave this at 24s and use a switchable voltage divider (resistor network) on the throttle control.
You would have to fine tune the circuit so the throttle responds appropriately for both normal and turbo mode.
