I use LiFePO4 because I don't want to worry about burning my house down if I plug in my bike and go to sleep. Is it low C....yes. Is my acceleration slow....Yes. Do I have to worry about my house burning down?....No.

RC lipo is a way to go if you are VERY-VERY-CAREFUL with your batteries. It is high C, light-weight, and relatively inexpensive. You can get the most out of your motors acceleration with it. A lot of guys around here use it. But it can be a disastrous surprise if not handled properly.

Depends on your needs, including budget.

I swore I was done with this stuff, but yesterday I just ordered another 48v 10 ah of cheap ass 20c turnigy lipo. But I do have a place to store them, and charge them, where I would build a fire. In my houses fireplace.

This spring, some more damn lipo is all I can afford. On the upside, I can keep the 40 amps controller on my dirt bike another two years now. When you need some amps, and you need it light, lipo is still the choice.

Rocket Fuel, or 86 Octane? There are a lot of choices in between those two, as well.

You need to tell us what you need the battery for, first.

From my experience cheap lipo pack has different resistance cells.
This means some cells have to work more,they don't balance and so on....

Which cheap lipo are you refering to ?
How are you measuring IR ?

I refer to pafo tech aka nanotechs.
Ir is measured by my i-charger in storage voltage.
Temperature no more than 27° celcius.

We call nanotechs pafotech cause they paff under normal conditions usage.
No i haven't tried otherethod my self because i want to see differences among cells.

Maybe you should check the accuracy of that charger IR measurment .(assume you know it an AC measurement ?)

Yep it's been already done.
It is accurate and my concerns are for reference to know the health of my pack among the cells.

Anyway as for the topic if OP knows what he wants to do it is better sto stay away from low quality packs.

Recommendation can only be made when we know what the use of the battery will be. Motor, controller, weight and terrain. Lots of good batteries out there. Where you live ?
