Hi,

I'm planning to do a bbs02 install. I have 2 bikes that are potential bikes for this build. Please let me know if I am looking at this incorrectly in any way.

1) Breezer Uptown 8 - This is a decent commuter bike with slightly wide tires (26x2.25 is my estimate). It has fenders, pull brakes, and 8 speeds.

2) Trek 6500 hardtail mountain bike - knobby tires, hydraulic disk brakes, 21 speeds, etc.

I'm leaning towards installing this on the Breezer since the fenders will help in slightly wet weather and since the bbs02 is a mid drive, it will replace the front chain ring. I will end up with 8 speeds on the breezer anyway. If I install this on the mountain bike, the front chain ring is a 3 gear (iirc) so by replacing it with this one, i will be left with a 7 speed bike.

I also go mountain biking sometimes and kind of want to leave my mountain bike as is for those trips. I primarily use my e-bikes for commuting and stuff like that.

Is there anything I'm missing here if I go with installing this on the Breezer? I haven't measured the bottom bracket but my current assumption is that it will fit on both bikes.
