BBS02 motor with a BBSHD controller gives error 11

I'm looking to get more performance out of my bbs02 motor so I installed a new bbshd controller. The motor runs but I have a error 11 on the display. This is a heat sensor error from what I am told. How do I get rid of this error?

You add the missing sensor, which is iirc. within the motor(bbshd only) connected to board hall sensors are at.
Or, you could flash it with bbs-fw, and configure it to ignore that sensor.

Is it possible to purchase and add the missing sensor? Where would I buy that?
maybe flashing is the way to go? I just don't want to brick the controller.

To get the absolutely correct sensor you would have to buy a used bbshd, or something.
Flashing bbs-fw is the easy way to deal with this.

btw., the controller in our bbs02 can do 33A w/bbs-fw, while bbshd will max out at 30A

Is this 33A controller something that you custom make for the bbs02? where do I get one?

Max Current
Maximum current to draw from the battery, max 33A (limited by secondary NEC microcontroller, cannot be increased further).

WARNING: Maximum current can be set as high as 33A for BBS02 but I seriously advice against that as there is a good chance you will break your motor! I fault has been observed on BBS02 when setting higher current, possible some form of hard overcurrent protection. If this is triggered power will be cut for a few seconds, lower you maximum current to avoid.

Yes, but then you don't want to disable the temperature sensor to keep the controller/motor alive
when it is being abused w/throttle. As is, the temperature limit is a "compile time"-only setting, so
the firmware can&will decrease current long before anything might fry if you go on 100% throttle
on a hot day for too long.

Thanks for your help. I was able to flash my controller with the new firmware with the help of my IT guy. Error is gone now!
