Hello all you smart and savvy posters.
I got a call from the owner of a white bh emotion rear hub motor ebike who has a dodgy knee and wants a throttle fitted to his bike.
Since I haven't worked on an Emotion before and as they come here in Oz without a throttle, could anyone give me some guidance on how to retrofit a throttle to this bike?
I assume that the controller doesn't have a lead for a throttle and if it did, it would be limited to 6km/hr as the stupid laws here dictate.
Could I splice a throttle connection off of the torque sensor peddle? Does the peddle run a 0-5v signal that can be used for a throttle?
Im happy for any advice before I get the bike in to start tinkering.
