Too bad it's illegal in many places, cuz it has too many wheels on the ground. :(

Yah. Why IS that exactly, anybuddy know? Lawyers and politicians as wannabe "engineers" or something?

Because you have to define a car somehow. Four wheels and a motor seems like a reasonable definition.

I would be interested if it was wider/more stable. moving it through a doorway isn't really a drawcard when it can just go in the garage. Would be looking at more than 250w too.

Wheel chairs have 4 wheels on the ground. Some wheelchairs are motorized.

So a tadpole bike has 3 wheels, is that considered the same as 4 wheels?

What about if you put 5 or 6 bicycle wheels on the ground?

Local laws may vary, but Western countries seem to be similar. Three wheels is considered as a bicycle (motorcycle & sidecar), but four wheels makes it a car/automobile. True, mobility scooters and power chairs have four wheels and unlimited power, but they are also speed limited (4mph in the UK). They're also disability aids - it's not enforced but able-bodied people could be prevented from using them.

I understand what you are saying.

But

Anyone everyone could argue about any vehicle being a disablilty aid.
Stubbed your toe. Muscle ache, cramps. Make up anything you like.

I saw a parabalegic riding a tadpole, that was his wheelchair, it had arm pedals.
To anyone it looks like an able bodied person riding a bicycle.

I think the term, automobile, is anything powered, 2, 3, 4 wheels.
Bicycles have to be ridden on the road for people over 18, not on sidewalks. I know thats law.

But yeah I hear ya, its confusing, but I look for loopholes in stupid laws or any law. And the laws are vague and could be argued in court.
The cop doesnt care, just see them in court is all. Thats why courts are backed up.

Anyway, that is a nice "vehicle" or bicycle.

I've been threatening to buy/make a decent go kart for a while... just can't justify it because it has no use other than as a play thing...

That is way cool. Can;t use it in Alabama because of the 4 wheel thing. Too hot anyways here.

Atrocious. Just awful.

That abortion can't choose between being minimal and elegant, or being gross and extravagant, so it simply fails at both.

What are you talking about? That IS the justification.

I have no where awesome to use it (a go kart, not this). Hence it would be a mantelpiece item, a toy. If I had somewhere offroad/bush like to use it, I would already have one.

Wheel chairs have 4 wheels, sometimes 6 wheels. Plus some are powered. Classified as a mobility device, same could be said for this product. Cant walk for judge, need a mobility device. Reasons? out of shape, American diet, cant break a sweat.
