Big shout out to johnnynerdout ( USA, Washington )

I needed a hub motor kit in a week and after spending an entire 2 days scouring ebay/google for a USA seller that actually listed specs, had a 500w-ish geared hub wheel, that's compatible with a disc.. i found out that youtube star, johnny nerdout, runs a little ebike kit shop in Washington, USA.. all the way on page 7 of google search.

It was an extremely depressing search though that showed nobody in the USA is selling basic hub motor kits at all... yet i can find all sorts in europe, china, canada, etc..

I gave him a call about to inquire about the top speed of this kit, and he was able to give me an answer that was +/- 5% accurate ( good enough )
Guy was friendly and super down to earth, reminded me of some of the cool vendors we had in the 2010's ^_^

Paid for mid speed shipping and had a kit in hand and bike up and running in 3 days from order and the cheap kit was better than expected!

Well the fact that he didn't try to force you into a mid drive makes me a little more open to watching his videos now. It's good to have an opinion as long as you recognize it's not the only opinion.
