The more I have to ride among car drivers, especially in the suburbs, the more I become convinced that all car drivers are sociopaths. It makes sense, considering that they're willing to ruin everything in the world (starting with where they live), for a moment's convenience.
I think protected bike lines is the only way to go. First you keep the cars away, and then you get more people biking. The result; less cars, and improved traffic for those who need a car. Everyone is happy, right ?

A 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection to the deaths of two teen girls who were struck by a vehicle while on their e-bikes in Cranford on Monday night.
What, the e-bike riders aren't being charged with their own deaths for being irresponsible and riding bicycles and getting in the way of a (motor) vehicle? Sometimes I am surprised that things don't go that wrong all the time...pretty sure that's how it would be here (I don't remember many news stories like this in the valley here).
