I have a 3-way speed switch switch is not working at the moment. No matter the position, my bike feels acts the same.
The problem, it feels like medium power.
Anyone has an idea what may be the cause of the problem?
Try disconnecting it. Hopefully it is programmed to default to high speed. If not you can try shorting 2 together. Don't worry, connecting wrong won't do anything. Generally 2 of the wires are +5V and the center is negative. The middle position on your switch connects nothing. Position one connects 1 wire to negative, and position 3 connects the other to negative. You can verify which spins the wheel fastest with the wheel off the ground, but have video running in case you aren't careful and the bike takes off and climbs the walls.
Some 3 speed switches were not compatible with the version 3 CA's so the cruise control and the 3 speed switch would not work properly with the new V3 CA's. I have one such throttle with 3 speed switch like this. I think it was just a brief period of time the miss match was sold like this but things seem to be sorted out now. Are you running a Version 3 CA that maybe is not compatible with your 3 speed switch?

Your previous posts suggest you have a Mac motor from em3ev so yes, the default is speed 2 if the speed switch isn't connected or, I guess, not working. Maybe you can check out the speed switch and connector and get it working again.

The problem is caused by a defective 3 speed switch! unfortunately as the above poster mentioned you have Mac motor from em3ev. So the answer is that you either have to buy a whole new throttle with built in 3 speed and cruise control. takes 3 weeks minimum.
Or short the 3 speed wire of the controller and you get full speed. Or get another standalone 3 speed switch. Grin/Lyon.
How do I know? I have gone through several em3ev.com throttles. Paul aka cell_man recommended that when I place the order to order extra throttles and I did that. So thank GOD I was able to just switch on demand.
Good luck brother. Your not far from the solution.
