board caught fire and company told me to "throw it in trash"

There are concerned authorities calling for ebikes to be registered and inspected.

So basically they want to do nothing to improve the safety, just basically tax and regulate more to discourage use huh..

A guy went into an elevator carrying an ebike battery in Australia, I think... and the door closes... then... that was it. He died.

That is the most scary I have seen in my life. I will never take the elevator again with a no-name unknown battery.

I won't buy anything but the most high quality battery i can afford. It's em3ev or ebikes.ca for me.
Very big differential in safety between no name battery assemblers and ones that pride themselves on quality..

10 years of people buying those batteries on this forum and i've seen no thread talking about a fire from either.

The extra couple hundred bucks is extremely cheap insurance.
