Hi, I have a chance to buy "Bosch Drive Unit High Performance Bracket motor" cheaply, but will it run with my 48V Liion battery (max output is 58V)?

If not, is there any way to make it run on 48V?

The motor came from Haibike XDuro rx Radically electrified bicycle.
I post a picture from the bike it came from.

Also, I can´t find much detail about the bike or motor. IS the motor some older type? What year? It says on the motor it is model Drive Unit 25 with power 250w and torque 50nM.

Bosh for sure is complete propertary ebike drive,
how are you going to use it without display?
Controller inside motor for sure has chip programmed to communicate with display/controller.
BOSH battery pack has electronics which most probably also communicate with display and motor controller.
Just think about how SOC of battery is displayed.
For sure SOC on BOSH display shows REAL state of charge not voltage so it must do Columb count of charge going into cells and Columb count of charge during discharging.
Shortly BOSH like any civilized ebike drive is controlled by software.
