Hey guys.. I am working on a bike design, and I want to be able to swap motors between 36V and 48V. I also want to use brushless motors.
I have 36v and 48v my1020 brushed motors, and they use the same mounting bolt pattern..
Can you guys suggest a high quality brushless motor in 36v and 48v that use the same mount pattern?

Also, which in your opinion is the best brushless motor for a ebike?

Thanks!!

Brushless motors tend to not be limited to a particular voltage, you could use the same motor at 36 or 48v, it would just be a bit faster fed with 48v rather than 36.

good to know.. I just assumed they were like brushed DC motors since they advertise them at different voltages also
