I'm looking for a good brushless controller that is 5" long or less, around 6-9 mosfets. I bought a JN controller from aliexpress and it doesn't work. Pretty disappointed, I tried everything but no output to the motor. I am currently looking at the Flipsky 75100 FOC VESC enclosed controller for $72, then the anti-spark switch for $39. It seems so pricey though, and looking for something cheaper. I dont need a display, or anything fancy. Just the brake leveler cuttoffs and the basic stuff. The control is mounted to if will have force air cooling.

I currently have bought at Vevor 1800W 48V motor, and will be pushing 60V, and want at least 60 amps out of the controller peak, even if I have to shunt mod it.

This is for a Razor E300 that had a 36V 800W brushed motor, well after running 40 amps max and 60V pack for 3 years the motor finally started having issues 3 months after I shunted the 1000W controller to push 72 amps peak. Boy it was fun!

What about the JN controller doesn't work? I bought some intending to run them without display, but they were set up to have one. On the display plug, I joined red to blue using a switch for on/off and they work fine that way.

Yeah i tried jumping the blue and red wires, still nothing, I even read to jump the black and yellow also together, tried that also with and without jumping the blue and red, nothing. I was getting 5 volts on the throttle, but the motor wouldn't move at all. I hooked the new motor up to my old electric bike, and the motor ran. So it's not the motor.

Did you try the teach wires?

It doesn't have any teach or learn wires, I've never bought a controller that was defective so I donno.
