hi ive got a 48v 10 or 20amp rackbattery with number 8 softcell low voltage or damaged and i have a 36v 14amp lifepo battery and it 10series softcell type witch has 2 puffy cells in it but still charges up . can i make a 18s pack out ovethese batterys . thay both were not old batterys . the ideal pack i need is 9 6s 5000mah packs in blocks ove 3 wired parrallel and then the 3 blocks ove 3 wired in series to make pack . sorry if this is hard to understand iam new to this and been tryn to learn more before tryn anything out . oh i allso have 4 22v 6s 5000mah rc packs if could use in this pack build. and i no that ide have to charge battery or packs with a rc balance charger .

At the least, you will need to combine only like chemistries into one pack. They will charge and discharge to too different voltages to combine well permanently. Don't hesitate to take two different brand lifepo4 packs, and rebuild one working pack from them. Just get each cell group to be the same capacity size.

If you match the voltages close enough, you can temporarily parallel lipo with lifepo4. One will reach lvc before the other, so stop early at the time for the first one to hit bottom. Example, 14s lipo matches 16s lifepo4 pretty close. Then separate again to charge them.

I found it convenient when my pingbattery died, to build the remaining semi good cells into 12v 15ah packs, that have 9 ah remaining capacity. Because other things are set up to run on 12v. I charge them with my RC charger. I can run a light, charge my Ipod, run a boom box, etc.

the 48v 10amp.and 36v 14amp are both softpack lifepo cells was going to replace the one bad celin 48v pack with one from 36 v pack and see if it works as that cell is more amps . just getn info before i done anything . other wise ill make 6s packs from the good cells i have and keep 10amp.and 15amp packs seperate and charge packs singley thanks for advice
