CA/phaserunner alternatives

Ive been using the CA and phaserunner combo since 2016. Im a bit tired of the datesd look of the CA, but really like the design of the PR. Ive been happy with the setup and configuration settings for years though. I think its finally time to change things up a bit.

Since Ive been using the same thing for nearly a decade, and have no idea what options there are these days.

What are some combos i could use that will offer me many of the same options as i currently have.

I dont have a high powered bike. Just 52v 34ah with max 80a discharge. I need something that can change disable the throttle easily in case i get stopped by the police. With the CA, i just flick a switch to cycle the power and the ca boots automatically into a pas only mode. This has saved me a couple times when police have checked out my bike. I explain that the throttle is only for regwn and show them that it doesnt make the wheel spin.

So what is out there nowadays? Ive put just over 30,000kms on my current setup

ebikes.ca has a new superharness setup, its a new screen, but i dont think it does everything a CA does, and I think it requires a controller with a special plug to work right.



I think you are probably lucky to have that phasrunner, thier newer versions seem to have problems with starting the bike at a dead stop, lots of cogging on my setup. Maybe a flipsky would be something to try? Ive tried a few controllers and there always seems to be something that doesnt work right. My favorite so far is the Far Driver because it just works, I'm not sure its right for your needs.
