i bought a used kit for my sons bike. when I power up the system the kph keeps flashing and if I go absolute WOT motor starts but only goes 6 km/h.
The kit is ca 3.1, 24 pole PAS, thumb throttle, potentiometer, grinfinion 20amp controller bafang 250w/500w geared hub. I unplugged the potentiometer and pas, no change. I disabled pas and potentiometer in ca3, no change. if I completely disconnect CA from controller and just run throttle to controller, the motor runs fine. I tried downloading the ca3 setup utility from grin but my computer is rejecting it, I had the same problem downloading the phaserunner and cant remember what I did to get it downloaded to my computer but even then its still messed up where I cant scroll down to set field weakening. im not a computer guy. also I opened up the ca and its like brand new inside. any ideas?
