Going to be buying these 2 ebikes (price is too low to pass up)

I've tried searching to see if I can identify the make/model in case I need to find wiring schematics or parts but coming up empty. Just wondering if anyone is familiar with them and or knows the make/model of them?

If you haven't checked, try contacting the Freedom Cycle Co. Those bikes look pretty ancient, but there may be a link.

IDK but i wouldn't buy them. There's multiple problems here.

~0.1% of prebuilt bikes are actually documented / designed to be repaired. For this reason, you will typically end up replacing most of the electrics to get a broken ebike working - the newer, the more likely this is the case.

People continually get busted for 'scooter with pedals added' type vehicles. There's no legal way to register such things as actual scooters because they don't have VINs or other identification markers.

I'm expecting to have to replace the batteries already. Luckily I have a large quantity of good 18650s to build new battery packs from. Controllers and wiring also pretty easy for me to replace, just easier with wiring diagrams, in fact will probably upgrade the controllers to remove the speed limit. Also planning to upgrade the motor on one of them for my own use... other might go to one of my kids.

As for registering, where I live in canada they are classified as ebikes so there is no worries about having to register them.

Also buying them for $30 each so not too worried about having to drop a bit more money on them getting them operational. LOL

I also did manage to find some similar bikes... looks to be a common chinese model that's been rebranded by many different companies as seen in the following search link

People get busted on those kinds of bikes in Canada all the time. I heard of a recent case where the guy was busted on the basis that the pedals weren't really functional ( insufficient gearing )
They are still arguing over what an ebike is over there btw.

At least you've been warned!

Привет. Может кто знает что за модель. Напряжение 48 вольт, четыре свинцовых аккумулятора. Мощность мотора не знаю.
Kosta.
