Can I still use Regen with batteries in series?

2 Pings: 48-15 and 1 24-15
connected in series directly (no diodes)
Independent BMS on each battery.

Can regen braking still be used? Or will current be dumped into just 1 battery?

Btw , bike works again, thanks for the help on troubleshooting the BMS.
Joined the 38.9 mph club (so hip and exclusive) , maybe on a windless day I can hit 40 on 25 amps.

If it works with each of the packs separately, and you've not introduced any blocking components, then it will work with them in series. Adding 24V to a controller will usually disable both regen and eabs braking unless you adjust lvc accordingly. So if you have no braking power after adding the 24V in series, then adjust your lvc higher.
